Primarily serves as the Head of accounts for Husco India, specifically responsible for accounting.  Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of Company financial statements, ensures that Company accounting information is processed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and other regulatory agency guidelines.  Responsible for administering Company policies and procedures used to investigate, grant and control credit, and in collecting accounts due.  Responsible for managing all centralized Company accounts payable and fixed assets functions.  Responsible for working with Corporate CFO and Vice President of Finance to manage Company treasury and risk management functions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  1. Prepares and presents company financial statements in a timely manner in accordance with company procedures and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  2. Manages preparation and presentation of the annual company profit plans, including budgets for all functional areas and capital plan
  3. Manages cash in a manner to minimize both working capital investment and cost of any local debt.
  4. Controls customer and supplier credit limits.
  5. Implements corporate risk management policies to minimize exposure from risk of disaster (including product liability) in a cost-effective manner.
  6. Ensure tax compliance, preparation & filing.
  7. Ensure compliance under Companies Act, Excise & customs Act.
  8. Reviews product costing for current and planned production.
  9. Manages in accordance with company policies practices and directives.
  10. Assists the General Manager and corporate staff with various projects as assigned.                  

AUTHORITY:

  1. Bank Payments – Approve all online payments.
  2. Signatory for all Direct and Indirect Tax matters (Income Tax, Excise, Customs etc.)
  3. Authorized to sign PO for all departments. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in Accounting, CA / ICWA.
  2. Experience of managing people / leading teams
  3. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
  4. Knowledge of and exposure to ERP system.
  5. Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  6. Ability to travel to foreign locations.
  7. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & 14001 :2004 Standards.
